A's

Wifflestock Series: Game 3
A's 13, Expos 3 (5 inn, mercy)
A's regroup to take the series
The Expos took an early lead, but scored all three of their runs in the first two innings before having to sit back and watch as the A's ran away with the third game of the series. The A's scored two in the bottom of the second and then delivered a dagger to the X by way of the long ball as Mathis, The Pirate, and 911 hit back to back to back solo homers on their way towards putting up seven runs in the inning. The A's would get the mercy victory with a walk-off grand slam by Larry in the bottom of the fifth. The highlights for the A's were Mathis and Larry who combined went 6-9 with four homers, eight runs scored, ten RBI's, and seven walks. The Pirate (2-0) picked up his second post-season victory of the night giving up only 3 runs on seven hits and striking out seven. Jamie (0-2) took the loss, giving up thirteen runs on nine hits and ten walks.
