FINAL

Game 3
Wifflestock Series: Game 3
Brewers 3, Yankees 2
Controversial play leads to Yanks exit
In a play reminiscent of the "3-ball" incident between these same 2 teams earlier in the year, Joe made a play from the mound with a ball in the other hand, causing the Yankees to wonder whether he'd dropped the ball that was actually hit, and leading to bitterness when the call ultimately went the Brewers' way, and lost in all this was a sensational play by Costa Rica, who batted a sure home run ball back into play from over the chain link to save some runs in the last of the fifth.  In the end, the Crew held on for a 3-2 win and a trip to the Semis. The Brewers took a 2-0 lead in the top of the second on 2 hits and an error, but the Yankees eventually tied it with solo homers by Gus in the third and Cota in the fourth.  The game winner came when Costa started off with a base hit, an error moved him over and a ground out by Joe drove him in. Joe (1-0) picked up the win, while Gus (0-1) pitched a hell of a game in defeat.
