Semifinals: Game 4

Brewers 2, A's 0
Costa Rica fires no-hitter to even series!
The Brewers roared back to tie the series at 2 apiece as Costa Rica, who was nto a regular pitcher for the team during the regular season, fired a no-hitter for a 2-0 win. Costa got alot of defensive help in this one, walking one and fanning only four. His only baserunners allowed came on a walk and an error in the first inning, after which he retired the final 17 batters in succession. The no-hitter is the fifth of the season, the second of the playoffs (Shirls vs. Braves). The Pirate pitched very well, allowing only six hits, and single runs in the 2nd and 4th innings. The A's defense also got three Brewers out on the base paths, including Westy at the plate twice, inducing Westy's classic quote: "Why did I have to wear those baggy pants?!?" The Brewers' win forced a be-all-end-all Game 5...
