Expos 10, Cubs 0 (4 inn, mercy)
The X scored three in the top of the first inning and that was all that J-Ski (1-0) needed as he only had to pitch four innings while the X's high powered offense racked up a total of ten to score the mercy rule. Each member of the Expos had at least two hits and J-Ski scored four times on his way towards the win. Matt Wick had the only hit for the Cubs and Matt Nelson (0-1) took the loss giving up all ten runs off of twelve hits and two walks.
