Balls vs. Walls?
Despite what Matt Balster (Twins) (1-0) and Adam Wallraff (O's) (0-1) put down as their nicknames Monday night, it could hardly be contained that with the proper nicknames (Balls & Walls) in place this could be a very entertaining pitching match up verbally if not physically. Either way it wasn't a very pretty game with walks, strikeouts, and errors strewn throughout the line-ups. Matt "Balls" got the win in main part to the extreme run support put up by the Twins and the four Oriole errors. Jon Herdegen missed the first game, but more than made up for it in the second by going 5-6 with a homer, three RBI's, three walks, and six runs scored. The O's played small ball most of the game, scoring their runs in one's and two's, but they just couldn't keep the Twins bats quiet long enough to bridge the ten run deficit.
