Indians find first win
In the early battle for the bottom of the of the Eagan AL, the Indians put Mike "Bork" Bortke (1-0) on the mound hoping that his pitching would be the key to unlocking their first victory. In part it was, as he went three and two thirds innings, giving up only two runs on three hits. The surprising part of this success story comes from the fact that he also walked ten batters before he finally got the hook in favor of Craig "CJ" John who came in and struck out all seven batters he faced. Alex Valen (0-2) took the loss for the Senators giving up five runs on six hits and two walks while striking out six.  The offensive highlight for the Indians was Tim "Molgs" Molgren who went 2-6 with two runs scored and two RBI's.
