Indians 10, Senators 0 (4 inn, mercy)
Mercy me, a no-hitter!
The Senators struggles continued Monday as the Indians pitching combination of Scott "Eck" Eckers and Craig "CJ" John combined to pitch the season's unofficial first no-hitter. The game only lasted four innings as the Indians went to town on the pitching offerings of Josh "Ten" Carroll, putting up one run in the first, two in the second, and then seven in the bottom of the third to cap off the sweep of the Senators. The offense was spread around for the Indians as each of the five Indians scored two runs apiece and Todd "T-Bag" Planting hit a home run. Eck (1-0) got the win for the, throwing three no-hit innings and striking out six before giving it up to CJ who allowed no base runners and struck out two. All told, the Indians only faced one batter over the minimum.
