Shorthanded Cubs lose third straight
Jake Tillman and Matt Nelson of the Cubs faced a full Cardinal squad Monday as the Cubs looked for their first win and the Cards looked to stay on top of the Eagan NL. The Cardinals prevailed in this one as Steve 2 led the Cards, going 2-5 with two runs and three RBI's. Steve "Steve 1" Stangler (1-0) got the win, giving up four runs on four hits and striking out the Cub combo thirteen times! Jake Tillman (0-2) got the loss as the Cubs weren't able to overcome an early 5-0 deficit.
