Cards complete the sweep
Steve "Steve 2" Kennedy (2-0) pitched an absolute gem of a one hitter as the Cardinals swept the Cubs to become the only team to post a 4-0 record. Steve 2 gave up one run off one hit and four walks while striking out ten. Tillman got the only hit and run for the Cubs going 1-9 overall. Matt Nelson (0-2) took the loss for the Cubs, giving up eleven runs in five innings. Every Cardinal had at least one RBI and Steve 2 had another big game, helping his own cause by going 3-5 with five runs scored and three driven in.
