Red Sox 3, Twins 2

Game 2 had much more action then the first game, but most of it didn't happen until late. The Man got the start for the Sox and started out strong. He pitched 3 scoreless innings before walking Balls in the 4th, getting K-Mart out and then giving up a 2-run homer to A.C. who turned around to bat from the left side after hitting right-handed all game. A.C. got the nod for the Twins, and had his stuff working. He had a shutout through 5 innings, giving up just 2 hits during that time. Going into the bottom of the 6th with the Twins leading 2-0, it was do or die time for the Red Sox. Tugboat led off with a walk, followed by The Man taking his first walk of the season, ending his bid to not walk all year. Lil' Randall hit a ground ball out moving the runners to 2nd and 3rd before Dr. Jesus hit another grounded to Balls in left where he was playing shallow to try and cut down the run. He fielded it cleanly while Tugboat scored, then The Man rounded hard (as hard as you can in mud) at third with Balls charging at him who took a hard throw at The Man but the ball went right between his legs, tying the game. In extras the Twins started off the 7th loading the bases on a hit and two walks with just 1 out. The Man would settle down and calmly struck out K-Mart and A.C. to escape without giving up a run. Then in the bottom of the 7th after retiring The Man and Lil' Randall in order, Dr. Jesus came up, who A.C. had been making look silly all game long with curveballs out of the zone. A.C. decided to try and get ahead in the count and fired a fastball right down the pipe, which our savior quickly turned on and blasted it into the trees to end the game. A.C. ended up giving up 3 runs on 3 hits and 6 walks, striking out 9. The Man gave up 2 runs on 2 hits and 5 walks, striking out an impressive 15.
