FINAL

Game 2

Chops took the mound against DJ in the 2nd game of the Hopkins West elite.

While Wole had a breakout game at the plate with 1 HR and 3 rbis, there was little else to cheer about for the .45s.

DJ allowed 9 hits, including a lead-off bomb to Edgar, coupled with 6 BBs.

Pearl, likewise, emerged as a force to be reckoned with posting 3 RBI.

Chops, steady as the northern star, trudged through the formidable .45s line-up none too worse for wear.

After this contest, the Braves found themselves cemented atop the West.

The .45s, however, found themselves at the precipice of an enormous crossroads.

The teams agreed, as required, to meet again later in the year.

Best.
