FINAL

Game 1

White Sox 4, Brewers 3

Sox Edge Crew in Exciting Finish

The Brewers were hoping to forget about the 13-run 5th inning against the .45's last week, and while Joe's (3-2) collapse wasn't as drastic, the result was the same this time around.

Lawrence cruised through the first four frames, not allowing a runner past 1st base, and the Crew small balled the Sox to gain a slight 2-0 lead.  2-Bat (3-2) Heyda was solid going the distance, striking out 9 in the victory, and personally kick started the late inning rally for the White Sox by smacking a two run homer to tie things up in the 5th.  Pukeboy would cap the comeback with a two out, two-run dinger of his own, putting the Sox up 4-2.

With two on and one out in the 6th, the Brewers tried some late game heroics of their own.  C-Bass was waived home from second on a single by Jesse "The Hammer", and Joe was trailing close behind.  Bass got tagged out at the plate, but Joe hurdled the throw to bring the Brewers within one.  With the threat looming, 2-Bat composed himself, and got Hendi swinging to strand the man at 3rd, and wrap up the series opener.
