Much deliberation was made by the Reds on the Game 3 pitcher, with Seuss eventually taking the hill. Epstein promptly lead off the game with a homer, then Cheerio knocked himself in with a single in the second. The Reds fought back as Shandy took Evan deep in the 4th, making the score 2-1. Shandy would get ahold of another one in the fifth, only to have Epstein make a phenomenal catch, leaping to the top of the chain link in long left to bring back an extra base hit. Evan locked in, and struck out Wole, Shandy and Seuss in the 6th to finish off the Reds.
