PADs stun Brewers 5-4 in Late-Inning Comeback

Game 1 between the Padres and the Brewers featured the pitching of Padres' ace Shirls (1-3) against the always improving Hendi (3-3).

Hendi had a rough start to the game, Walking "Nine" then giving up a hit to Shirls and a 3 run homer to Westy. Despite loading the bases on 2 walks and a reached on error, Hendi managed to damage to a minimum not allowing any more runs while striking 3 out.

The Brewers took the lead in the bottom of the second on a reached on error followed by 2 walks and a bases clearing triple by Joe. Joe later scored on a productive out by The Hammer.

Down 4-3 in the top of the 6th and 2 outs the PADRES responded to the call of "Tito Peunte" scoring two runs on back to back singles by Nine and Shirls.

Tough-luck loser Hendi finished the game with 16 strikeouts while shirls notched his second win of the year.
