Padres Edge Brew Crew 6-5 on Shirls' Walk-Off HR

This well played game, featured two underrated pitchers facing off in another classic battle.

The Padres jumped out to an early lead when Nine's solo HR was followed by back-to-back Shirls and Westy hits and an RBI single by Quick. The lead did not last for long as the Crew took control of the game with a grand slam by The Hammer after Nine struggled to find the plate.

The Brewers added one more in the top of the 3rd when Joe's sac fly scored Hendi on a double play.

The Padres chipped into the lead in the bottom of the 4th when 2 walks followed by 2 singles cut the lead to 5-4.

In the bottom of the 6th with 1 out, a nine single followed by a shirls 2 run homerun won the game for the Padres.... their second 6th inning comeback of the night.
