Pitching/Defense:
Madman threw a handful of games last season, and while he won most decisions, he didn’t necessarily demonstrate overwhelming stuff. Still, he’s an option out of the pen, should the need ever arise.
Batting/Baserunning
The one arm swinging lefty took a few lumps in his first full season. Using a style more known for power than average, Hill made decent contact at times, even if his low K-rate is to be expected.
2007 Outlook:
Like anyone, you expect overall improvement with more exposure to the HRL, and Madman certainly looks like a fine candidate to make a big leap this summer, especially on the offensive side of the ball, where his bat has the potential to be pretty powerful.
