Pitching/Defense:
Josh has been a workhorse the past two seasons, logging more than 80 innings for the now defunct M's and Sens. His fastball has some nice 2-seam movement, but his curve and off-speed offerings allow hitters to frequently make contact.
Batting/Baserunning
Given a nickname early on, in reference to his Nine-like patience at the plate, Ten has a great eye for the zone and remains near the top in the league for drawing walks year in and year out. He added some much needed power last season, but is still more of an OBP guy than a consistent deep ball threat.
2007 Outlook:
Ten hopes that adding a few new faces to the lineup and improving the ferocity of the team mascot will translate into a better season for the sailors. His offensive production has improved every year he's been in the league, and if he can make do the same on the mound, he'll help the Pirates win a lot more games.
