PLAYER PROFILE

Showed some pop in his bat in 2015, tying for second on the team with 5 home runs. Despite the .197 batting average, he struck out the least on the team, so at least lots of contact and productive outs were made. The teams unofficial scorekeeper, most of the time had the book in hand as he was only in the field about half the time. He sometimes even kept score while on the basepaths, on at least one occasion, it cost the team a run. Not a pitcher by trade, though he did get in a few emergency innings in 2015, finishing with a 9.00 era, only the second worst on the team. On a team desparate for some decent pitching, he may make a few more appearances in 2016.
