Pitching/Defense:
A solid defender, Matt doesn't see a whole lot of time in the Expos' rotation. He's a capable spot starter though, typically relying more on benders than fastballs to get batters to chase and records outs.
Batting/Baserunning
Only playing in half the games last season didn't help M-ski find his groove at the dish. He'll take mistake pitches deep, but is also prone to striking out.
2007 Outlook:
M-ski will help the X anyway he can. His swing has the potential to do a lot more damage than his stats suggest, as he looks to return to his 2004 form.
