It's so nice, let's play three!
As the lights came on and the field dried up, a strange foggy haze seemed to overtake the field as the X and The Firm strapped it on for a rubber match in game three that the Royals would win by a 5-3 score. Torpedo (1-1) pitched the first complete game for the club this season, getting tagged for three runs in a rough 1st inning (featuring HR's by Christian and Madman), but he settled down nice and caught fire the rest of the way, striking out 10 and walking 5. The Royals were led by Truck's 2 home runs off the arm of Madman (0-2) who didn't do a bad job at all, scattering the 5 runs over 6 innings, giving up 8 hits but walking 7 batters. Hal had a 2-hit, 2-RBI performace for The Firm.
