Bats come to life for The Firm, doom J-Ski
The Royals combined for five home runs all off J-Ski (2 for Rocket, 1 each for Truck, Hal and Torpedo) and got solid pitching to pull even for the series with a 6-3 win over the Expos. J-Ski (1-1) was used and abused on the hill, going the distance despite getting pummeled for six hits. We walked nobody and struck out seven. Christian highlighted the X's offense with a 2-run homer off Rocket that tied the game at 2-2 in the top of the third. Rocket (1-2) pitched a dandy in picking up his first win of 2007, going 4 innings. Truck came on for the final 2 frames and let up one run on one hit and picked up the save (2).
