FINAL

Game 1
Expos 3, Royals 1
J-Ski's bomb makes the difference

Fifteen minutes of downpouring at the start of the game made for some sloppy field conditions, wet t-shirts, erect nipples, and equally erect wifflers, but there were no delays.  An absolute laser by J-Ski, who was sitting on the heater from Torpedo resulted in a 2-run jack that broke a 1-all tie in the bottom of the 5th inning, ultimately giving the X a series-opening 3-1 win.  Torpedo (1-1) took the loss after coming on in relief in the 5th.  He struck out the side and allowed the big blast to J-Ski in hos only inning of work.  Hal made the start for the Royals and was awesome, going 4 innings and surrendering one run on one hit and fanning nine with no walks.  Christian (2-0) made a very good start as well, going the distance, giving up a run on just a pair of hits, eight whiffs and two walks.  Truck made a highlight reel effort when he took a mighty hack at one of Christian's pitches in the 6th and slipped in the mud, sending him 10 feet up the third base line where he finally crashed ashore like a beached whale.
