Diamondbacks 5, Cardinals 0
After a game of trying to catch up to the pitching in game 1, the Cards found themselves trying to hit the brakes in game 2. Moneyshot started the game for the D-backs, and may have had the fortune of a jumpy, trigger-happy Cards team trying to pounce on the much slower pitching. Getting bailed out on a number of occasions by his fielders, or by a poor swing selection, Money would hold the Cards scoreless for the second straight game. HBK would make his debut, not being able to be there for game 1, and hit a 2-run scoring single in the first, followed by a solo homer on the back end of a back-to-back started by Pink’s 2 run homer prior. All 5 D-backs runs would come by way of the noobs, and they would take the game 5-0.
