Game 2 of this vaunted series saw Tugboat (fresh off a stint in the Illinios development league) vs Nine.
The Red Sox had a 3 run 1st inning after hitting 5 straight singles (including 2 from The Man) while Nine was finding his form. Once he settled in, Nine struck out the side and continued to roll all game only allowing 1 run the rest of the game. The PADRES lone run came in the 6th inning when a single by Nine scored Quick to spoil Tuggy's shutout bid.
