Pitching/Defense:
Although raw and unpolished, Gusto has a live arm and can fling the crap out of the ball. His pitches have too much speed and break for him to control though, and he can rarely dial it in to find the zone.
Batting/Baserunning
Gusto doubled his batting average and OBP in his second season in the HRL. He'll make pitchers work, with his high walk rate, but often struggles with two strikes, when he's at danger of getting caught looking.
2007 Outlook:
After a hiatus from the Cubs last season, Gusto rejoins with Nelson on the newly formed Diamondbacks. If he can continue to make strides like he did in 2006, he could be a favorite for Most Improved by the end of the summer.
