Pitching/Defense:
As a rook in 2006, Nelly had a hard time finding the zone and walks too often came back to haunt him. Like the rest of his mates in the field, Jayme is very steady defensively, gobbling up most hits that come his way.
Batting/Baserunning
Nelly had a hard time tracking some of the tricky wiffle offerings in his first full season, striking out once ever couple at bats. He is more patient than some of the other Tigs though and has the getty-up to stretch for two and pressure defensives on the base paths.
2007 Outlook:
A likely candidate to make significant improvements in his second season, Nelly should have a better feel for what the league has to offer this time around. Cutting down on the K's will be his priority, and the rest will come accordingly.
