Pitching/Defense:
A mainstay in the Twins' rotation, Mart makes good use of a very tough sinker and cutter combination. When that sinker is breaking like it should be, he dominates…when it comes out a little flat though, his pitches are similar enough to allow batters to get their timing down against him.
Batting/Baserunning
A solid hitter all around, K-mart has yet to put up a huge season, numbers wise. He has the potential to do so though. He still thrives on chest high, slow curves, and is dangerous with anything left up around the letters.
2007 Outlook:
K-mart should bounce back nicely from a sub-par year at the plate. He could hit closer to .300 this summer and post career high RBIs. On the mound, if he can pitch like he so often does in the postseason, both he and Twins could have a big year.
